Returns & Shipping Information
In the event you need to request a return authorization for an item you purchased from All Star Medical, please go to the bottom of each page under “My Account” and select “Request a Return,” or contact us to start a return and request an RMA.

- Return Requests must be made within 7 days of receiving your order.
Any return requested after 7 days will be denied. - Lift Chairs: Return Requests must be made within 3 days of delivery.
Any return requested for a Lift Chair after 3 days will be denied. - Golden Technologies Lift Chairs are NOT returnable once delivered, per manufacturer policy.
- Return Requests must be made within 7 days of receiving your order.
- Bestcare items are also NOT returnable per manufacturer policy.
- Mattresses of any kind
- Bathroom Safety Equipment
- Journey Healthcare products: All Up Bed and Up Bed Independence models
- Fiberglass Best Bath products: Other Best Bath products will include a 50% restocking fee
General Return Guidelines
- You must retain all original packaging and materials for the item to be authorized for return. Please keep the box or boxes.
- Refunds for authorized returned items may take up to 30 days after the item has been received by the manufacturer for inspection and processing.
Fees Deducted from Refunds:
- Original Shipping Costs:
While shipping is free on most orders over $50, the original shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. - Return Shipping Costs:
- The customer is responsible for return shipping arrangements and costs.
- Tracking numbers must be provided for verification.
- In some cases, All Star Medical can arrange shipping for you, but the cost will be deducted from your refund.
- Restocking Fees:
- Restocking fees range from 15% to 25% of the item’s value, with a minimum fee of $15.
- Non-Refundable Fees:
Services like in-home delivery and setup are non-refundable.Unfortunately, outgoing freight, delivery service fees, including Next-Day and Overnight shipping fees, Inside Delivery, White Glove Delivery and Tech Set-Up are not refundable.
Important: Items must be returned in NEW, unused condition, in the original packaging, and with all accessories and documents intact. Damaged, missing, or used items may result in deductions or rejection of the return. Rejected returns will only be shipped back to you at your expense, and arrangements must be made within 3 days of rejection.
Specific Return Policies
- Custom Items: Non-standard or custom-built items are not eligible for return and may incur a 10% cancellation fee if cancelable. Items in production cannot be canceled.
- Hygienic Products: Bedding, slings, and wearable products are non-returnable for hygiene reasons.
- Low-Cost Items: Items under $45 are non-returnable. ( Excludes Compression )
Damaged or Defective Products
If your item arrives damaged or defective, contact All Star Medical within 3 days to arrange for a replacement or repair. For freight or white-glove delivery items:
- If the package appears damaged upon delivery, write “Package Damaged” or refuse delivery. Notify us immediately so we can assist with the return and replacement process.
- Claims must be made within 48 hours for freight shipments.
Unauthorized Returns
Unauthorized returns (items sent back without an RMA number) will not be refunded. All Star Medical reserves the right to refuse delivery of unauthorized returns.
Additional Policies
- Retail Purchases: Items purchased in-store must be returned to the respective store. Online purchases require an approved return authorization.
- Color Disclaimer: Due to variations in monitor displays, exact color matches are not guaranteed.
- Promotional Gifts: Free items included with a purchase must be returned with the order. If not, their prorated value will be deducted from the refund.
