When it comes to power mobility golden technologies has hit
a homerun with the GP162. This chair has a 300 lb. weight capacity and breaks
down into 4 pieces with the heaviest piece weighing just 37lbs! The battery
life operating range is 15.5 miles, the turning radius is 28.5 inches and they
have recently started making the Literider Envy in Multiple colors. You can even
get the seat in a 20 inch width (standard width is 18 inches).
Pride Mobility saw a need in the market for a portable power
wheelchair and developed the GO Chair. If you see it you want forget it because
it’s really a stylish power wheelchair. They were the first in the industry to
offer different colors to give the consumer the ability to have a personal
touch to a power wheelchair. This chair also breaks down into 4 pieces as well
and goes up to 3.7 mph also having a 300 lb. weight capacity. The heaviest
piece is 36 lbs. and the turning radius is 25.5 inches.
The Jazzy Passport is a portable power wheelchair that many
companies have tried to make but they just couldn’t get the chair light enough.
Along comes Pride and they have made a foldable power wheelchair with a 250 lb.
capacity and it weighs only 53 lbs. The 24 volt 18 ah lithium ion battery only
weighs 7 lbs! The maximum speed is 3.6 mph with a turning radius of 25.25
inches and an overall width of 23.6
